That is the goal, for me and my clients.  I have been working in the fitness industry for 17 years (certifications in Pilates, Personal Training, Kickboxing, Step, Aerobics), but have been involved in exercise and outdoor activities for over thirty years.  I have a BS in education and an MA in learning handicaps.  Combining my passion for education, exercise, and steadfastness mixed with variety, has led me to be a part of opening our own studio, Pilates Influence, in 2007.

When I found Pilates 8 years ago, it changed my body and my life! I began teaching Pilates nearly 4 years ago and have loved watching my clients enjoy all of its benefits as I have. I am classically trained and certified in all levels of Mat and in all Apparatus through Power Pilates. I believe in building a strong Pilates foundation. Whether you are at a beginner, intermediate or an advanced level in your practice, I'll give you a great workout that is fun, challenging and gets results! After earning a Bachelors degree in Psychology and working in customer relations for a Pharmaceutical Company, I became aware of the dangerous lifestyles many live in America and wanted to contribute to helping others live healthier. I have always been active and loved Pilates so I made it my profession! Teaching since 2008, I have earned national certifications from the Body Arts and Science International Comprehensive Teacher Training Course and Simone S. Reformer I/II Teacher Training Course. When not teaching, I am an avid runner and recently finished the LA marathon. I also love cooking healthy meals and traveling with my husband Rob.
